Microberlinia brazzavillensis, from west-central tropical Africa — Gabon, Congo and the Central African Republic; light brown to cream with dark blackish-brown stripes that are wide and erratic on flatsawn faces and narrow and regular on quartered ones, the grain interlocked or wavy over a uniform medium to coarse texture.
