These terms govern your use of Tonewood Atlas (the “Site”), available at tonewoodatlas.com. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site. They were last updated on June 26, 2026.

What Tonewood Atlas is

Tonewood Atlas is a discovery tool for boutique acoustic guitars. We aggregate and normalize live inventory from a curated set of specialty dealers and present it so you can find and compare instruments in one place. Every listing deep-links to the dealer’s own page; we never sell guitars ourselves, and we are not party to any transaction between you and a dealer.

Permitted use

You may browse the Site for your own personal, non-commercial use of finding and comparing instruments. Legitimate search engines may crawl and index the Site in the ordinary way, consistent with our robots.txt. Any other use requires our prior written permission.

Limits on automated access and reuse

The catalogue — the listings, their normalized specifications, the builder and dealer associations, the photographs we surface, and the way it is all organized and presented — is the product of substantial effort and is protected as a compilation. To protect it, and except with our prior written permission, you may not:

• Access, crawl, scrape, harvest, index, or copy the Site or its data by automated means, other than a legitimate search engine acting consistently with our robots.txt.
• Extract, download, or reproduce a substantial part of the catalogue, or build, train, or populate any database, dataset, model, product, or service from it.
• Republish, redistribute, resell, frame, mirror, or otherwise make the Site’s content available as part of another service.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any rate limiting, access control, or other technical measure we use to protect the Site, or access it in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Misrepresent the identity of an automated client (for example, by sending a user-agent that falsely claims to be a search engine).

Accuracy and availability

Listings reflect data observed from dealer sites and may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong; availability and pricing are set by the dealer, not by us. We provide the Site “as is,” make no warranties about its content, and may change or remove anything at any time.

Enforcement

We may rate-limit, challenge, block, or revoke access for any client that breaches these terms, with or without notice, and we reserve all rights and remedies available to us, including under applicable computer-access and contract law. We reserve all rights not expressly granted here.
