Guibourtia ehie, from west and west-central tropical Africa — Guinea and Ivory Coast through Ghana and Nigeria to Cameroon, Gabon and Congo; yellowish to reddish brown with darker brown, grey or black stripes and a pale yellow sapwood that is clearly demarcated, the grain straight to slightly interlocked and sometimes curly or mottled — also sold as shedua and amazique.
