The Wood Key
The name has no settled referent: Picea omorika is the endemic of the Drina valley straddling the Bosnian–Serbian border but is standardly called Serbian spruce, while P. abies is native to Bosnia and Herzegovina as well, so “Bosnian spruce” may be naming a place of growth rather than a species.
