Picea × lutzii, a natural hybrid of Sitka and white spruce that arises only where the two ranges overlap, in coastal south-central Alaska and coastal British Columbia; it reads visually as Sitka — cream to pale yellow, sometimes with a faint pinkish cast, fine and even in texture with consistently straight grain.
