Martin Guitars

Founded in 1833 and still building in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, Martin effectively invented the American flat-top — and its Custom Shop is where that lineage still gets made by hand, one guitar at a time. On the Atlas you'll find only that end of the company: built-to-order Custom Shop instruments and the Authentic Series' pre-war reproductions (hide glue, hand-shaped bracing, VTS-aged tops), not the standard catalog.

Black Mountain Guitar

Black Mountain Guitar Co is a full-service shop in Cave Creek, Arizona, just north of Scottsdale in the Phoenix metro — a community-minded store that pairs sales, repairs, and lessons with an active events calendar, from intimate 30-seat artist clinics to monthly songwriter, Americana, ukulele, and blues jams. For acoustic shoppers the high-end shelf runs Martin- and Gibson-forward, anchored by Martin Custom Shop flat-tops and Gibson Custom historic reissues, with the occasional top-tier Taylor — a selection that sits firmly in the custom-shop and historic-reissue tier.
